Q: What past experiences help you relate to clients?
When I was 13 my father passed away and my mother started thinking of ways to protect her assets in case something also happened to her. When she set up a trust and a UTMA for me, I began taking an interest in investing with a small inheritance from my father. This situation is similar to that of many of our clients. They want to set up an estate plan to effectively distribute assets to their children, fund college expenses, and grow their asset base through investing.
Q: What do you enjoy outside of work?
I was a competitive hula dancer in high school and enjoy teaching dance moves to my 2 year old daughter. I’ve also been working out since I was 16 and remain dedicated to one day competing in a men’s physique competition. I also love surfing in tropical destinations including the Philippines and Hawaii where I have family.
